This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information in connection with your use of www.yesshecancampaign.org , www.disscholared.org, and our related services, products and offerings that we and/or our affiliates own or control (collectively, the “Sites”). Please note that your use of our Sites is governed by, and subject to, our Terms of Use, which we may update from time to time.

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect on our Sites and through related activities, including our correspondence (e.g., emails) with you. How We Collect Your Information
We will collect your information directly from you or otherwise as described in this Privacy Policy. For example, we collect information on our newsletter pop-up, volunteer sign-up forms, donation forms, and program sign-up forms. Alternatively, through your donations. Donations are collected through third-party providers, such as Zeffy and Paypal, which collect information from you (more information below).
How We Use Your Information

To present our Sites and its contents to you;
To respond to your requests or questions;
To provide you with information, or services that you request from us;
To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it (for example, if you apply for one of our programs, we will only use the information as stated in the permission slip that a parent/guardian or participant signs (as applicable));

To notify you about changes to our Sites or any services we offer or provide though it;
To allow you to engage with our Sites generally, including by participating in interactive features on our Sites;
To improve our programming and services;

Although we do not sell your information, we may disclose your information pursuant to this Privacy Policy:
For our newsletter in which we only upload your email if you consent to the newsletters from a third-party provider called Constant Contact (more information below));
To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request;
To enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements, including for US federal, state and local tax purposes;
If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Organization, our donors, participants, or others. We may use your personal information for reasons not described in this Privacy Policy where permitted by law and the reason is compatible with the purpose for which we collected it. If we need to use your personal information for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and explain the applicable legal basis.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, billing, or reporting requirements, to establish or defend legal claims, or for fraud prevention purposes.

We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
Please note that copies of your personal information, feedback, contributions or otherwise may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Sites users.

People who sign up for the newsletter will receive the newsletter; you can always opt-out the newsletter at the bottom of the email or by emailing info@yesshecancampaign.org
Children
This Sites is offered and available to users who are 18 years of age or older and reside in the United States or any of its territories or possessions. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18 without permission from a parent or guardian. Anyone (including students) under 18, must receive parent/guardians' permission to participate in all of our programs. If you are a parent or legal guardian and think your child under 18 signed up for our newsletter, you can contact us at info@yesshecancampaign.org. If we learn that we have collected personal information of a child without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian, we will delete it.
Third Party Sites
If you click on a link to a third-party site, you will be taken to Sites or platforms we do not control (for instance, our Sites of our online donation processors). This policy does not apply to the privacy practices of that Sites or platform. Read the Privacy Policy of the respective Sites and companies carefully. We are not responsible for these third-party practices.
Third Party Sites & Automated Data Collection
We do not collect personal information automatically, nevertheless we may tie this information to personal information about you that we collect from other sources or you provide to us. Some content or applications on our Sites are served by third party providers which are listed below. These third parties may additionally include content providers, and application providers.
These third party providers use cookies (alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies) to collect information about you when you use our Sites. A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different Sites and other online services.
The Sites may offer third party linked social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as through Facebook or Instagram). We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.

If we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Sites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.
